Sometimes you come across a book that is just soooo good that you have to make an exception and do two, give-away posts in one month. March is that month! And I’m giving it away NOW because it would be a WONDERFUL gift for an Easter basket, alongside those chocolate eggs and
candied terrible PEEPS!
So what book am I giving away this month?
I am giving away THREE copies of I AM: 40 Reasons to Trust God by Diane Stortz.
And why am I giving away this book?
- Because I LOVE finding beautifully-illustrated, practically-shared, Bible Truths that can be used to help disciple our children. This one is FABULOUS! Highlighting 40 names for God, this book walks through the major TRUTHS from God’s Word and talks about how those names are depicted throughout the stories and teachings.
- Each devotional includes a particular name for God, a section of Scripture, a prayer, and then a wonderful section entitled: “WHAT DOES IT MEAN?” I LOVE this section because it takes the NAME and the TRUTH and then draws out a practical application for little souls.
- The illustrations are beautiful and creative, and there is GLITTER on the cover. GLITTER and GOSPEL!!! Can it get any better?!?!?!
So what are a few of my favorite line(s) from this devotional?
Well, I’ll just share a little snippet from one of the 40 devotions found within this book!
Name of God: God is THE WORD: Logos
Verse: John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Excerpt from Luke 10: Account of Mary at Jesus’ feet, listening to His words.
What Does it Mean?: Words, words, words! Words are everywhere. Most grown-ups speak sixteen thousand words every day! We talk to our friends. We hear words on TV. We hears words on the radio. We read words in books and on apps. Some words are very important to say and to hear, words like “I love you,” “Can I help you?” and “I’m sorry.” But the most important words of all are God’s words. When Mary listened to Jesus, she was listening to God’s words. We listen to Jesus, the WORD, when we read the Bible. Listening to Jesus is the most important thing we’ll ever do!
So how can you win a copy of this book?
In the comment section below, share a WORD/verse that has been a recent encouragement to you and on Thursday at 10AM (EST), I will select THREE winners!
